You're creating a false causal relationship between the two.

Very true, but with benefit cuts (retirement taking longer, Tricare Prime being cut WAY back with increased costs, increased Tricare fees) long deployments and a battle weary force, you have to keep a carrot up to get people in there otherwise the next emergency, we're going to have Racr and 4eyes there guarding the remains of the Enterprise as several thousand sailors row her into battle.

Your. My mind is far from deluded. You remove funding from all of those things I mentioned before you start harming operational preparedness and R&D. I want my Halo body armor

That's like 2nd grade grammar. Sorry for the help, but that one fuck up nullifies any intelligent post you've made.

If it gets cut, suck it up and pay for it yourself or wait for the GI bill to kick in.

It's is a great deal not an entitlement.

**edit. Mr Willie no matter the fund we still need a living wage. No matter what you call it we need the bumps in our pay for housing if nothing else. We still pay taxes as well.

Says raise and support Army and Navy. Tuition programs are part of supporting the military as it's an enticement to boost enlistment. Unless of course you would like to go back to drafting. I'm all for it 4 eyes. Enjoy Iran.
