If they can keep it, suggest he does. That's (one reason) why we're buying a boat now that the kids are 3, they like fishing and boats. haha I told the wife I needed a boat to go fishing, my boy ran to the bath tub and got one of his for me.
Yesterday at Cabela's he was excited about the "big boat" and he understood now why his boat would not work. Kids are awesome at this age.
edit: Otherwise, I'm willing to check it out. I am moving kind of quick though.
Well I just IM'd him and he said they decided to keep it, haha. Good luck with your search.
Ceyko, i have a buddy selling a boat. I'll PM you the details when I get them. Him and his wife just had a newborn so he's putting his efforts other places.

I am certainly not dead set, but any used boats I'm not getting any feedback via email. My criteria is that I'd rather it be less than 5 or so years old though since I'm paranoid and not familiar enough with a boat. In other words, I'm looking for turn key since I don't know squat. That boat would be 3 years before I'd have to start doing things on my own.
are you dead set on new? If not I can put you in contact with some people that can help?
BTW nice boat

So, went looking last night and some of the boats in my price range were only good for up to 4 passengers. Generally, 2 adults and 2 kids will be the minimum and there will usually be about 1 more passenger for fishing.
So I had to go a little different and it seemed like it went from 15K-18K to 40-60K in some of these boats. Anyway, they (Cabelas) had one nice shallow hulled aluminium boat I liked and then the one I'm probably going to get. I'm waiting a few days to let it stew to make sure and for me to validate everything via research.
Anyway, pretty common boat - Lowe FM 165 60hp, may upgrade to 75 and has 5 seats.
Kimble bend, where fm 174 crosses the Brazos. Now we need to get some rain to fill up grandbury so they will release some water to the lower part of the river.
Lake arlington just works for me, it's close, cheap ($25 for a years pass), and its never busy.
I too need to find a new wakeboard. My current one possesses skillZ I don't have anymore. Lol.
good to know, I will need to get that pass then, Loyd park is crazy if it is a nice weekend but it is a nice place.
Ha I haven"t been wake boarding in years so I am sure it will hurt
