Good to hear. My sis said the only damage they had was a tree fell across her front yard/driveway.

I remember it...serious assed storm. My brother was actually there and got his Explorer beat to shit.

There has been one since then, however, that exceeded the damage....

April 10, 2001 - St. Louis, Missouri - $2+ billion in damage claims. Quoted as being "The costliest hailstorm in US history, which struck the I70 corridor of eastern Kansas, across Missouri, into southwestern Illinois.

Matt, we've had hail and tornadoes forever, lol. When I was 16, I watched a funnel cloud move down 1382 in DeSoto and when it got to the eastern side of town it started blowing off roofs. It then proceeded to cross I-35 where it demolished Lancaster.

    Some interesting reading here: http://www.tornadoalleylive.com/subi...ather_archives

I hope everyone's family is safe after all that happened last night. The images on the news this morning were stunning.

Ok I guess as blownaltered said, I was lucky to live in an area un affected by it. Anyone tired of hail, move to Plano off Spring Creek and Coit. Apparently hail doesn't go there. Lol

My son's birth mom lives down there. Sweated bullets for an hour this morning waiting for her to reply to my text message. Fortunately everyone in her family is OK.

I took this standing outside my shop, the dark clouds were headed north and the lighter headed south. This was the big one in Cleburne.

My inlaws were right in its path, thankfully they are ok.
