There was a poll on the news earlier asking consumers if they would buy Blue Bell again after production resumed. Not sure how big the sample was, but 90% said they would buy Blue Bell again.

They were in a bit if a corner. Nobody was going to buy any of it after the cdc warned not to. If it sits on the shelf and expired, they will have vendors with their hands or for reimbursement. By voluntarily pulling all of it, and being open and honest, they save face, and when it's back on the shelves again, people will feel comfortable and buy again.

I think is a good move on blue bells part to do it this way.
