You should register for the emails at SWA, they sent me something just yesterday for flights for $69.00 one way. Of course those are for places like Amarillo and but the nicer places are not that much more...

Two words: Virgin America. THE best airline in the country and THE best pricing too. I only fly VA if I'm going to a destination they fly to. Last I checked, Vegas is $109.
I've tried to fly with them several times. The planes appear to be so much newer, nicer, and more comfortable on the inside. Unfortunately, they haven't been an option to any of the destinations I've been trying to go to.

One of the reasons Southwest was able to keep their fares lower is due to their jet fuel hedge fund. They played the fuel market much better than the other airlines. My understanding is that they still play the game pretty well. However, eventually those high fuel prices get to you.

That said, I'm much happier with Southwest than most other airlines. Virgin America is the only one I would rather fly but their routes are rather limited from DFW. However with Wright Amendment dying later this year, VA says they will be opening new gates and routes at Love Field.

Speaking of Love Field. I dig the renovations. I was thinking that last night as I got back from Tampa. That new terminal is great.

But it still won't be $99. I think the cheapest one I got was like $218 or something like that. Flying to vegas is still tons better than driving, even at regular rates.

Last few months I've been searching for flights & the cheapest I can find is about $350 round trip. I guess that promo won't be coming around anymore. Anyone know of any good deals or promo codes?
$350.00 RT ($175.00 EW w/tx's, fees incld.) is cheap. It's summer time and they know everyone os going on vacation, pay up sucka or drive, lol.

JetBlue beats them on just about any route I'd take and they have tv.

If you book a rental car and/or hotel with the flight aa.com used to always have the best deals for Vegas.

Do you mostly play at a specific casino? Hosts can hook you up with travel vouchers if you play enough.

Thats why I got an AA card, free checked bags. I booked a flight to DC for next month and with the Free checked bag AA was about $50 cheaper than SW.
