I use them all the time. On jet engines most of the hardware is 12pt. Only have to buy SAE though. It's extremely rare to find something metric on an aircraft

Even if you have a complete set, at $200 for 100% duplicates it is worth it to me.

Can never have too many duplicate ratchets, sockets, extra extensions, a complete set of ratchet wrenches and all the small add it comes with.

I can tell you from experience, sears won't warranty out their shit if they know you're using it in an industrial setting.
