So what you're saying is because they don't know what it does to a person, they just don't care? Hope they never get a hold of someone with a severe allergy.
Im really sorry to hear that man. In the 7 years I have been doing healthcare, I have NEVER come across a single patient that has had this problem. Lactose intolerant people yes but never something so specific as a lactose binding problem. I couldnt tell you (and I doubt any Drs I work with) could name 5 drugs that are lactose binding. We rely on computer systems these days to help screen medications and allergies. Obviously there isnt much in the medication databases to help you out. Thus, I wouldnt expect much from the people prescribing or giving you medications.

edit/// I just googled medications with lactose and didnt find too much info. A single study a small list and a general page that says thousands of medications use lactose as a coating or filler. If that is the case, it could vary from manufacturer to manufacturer of the same medications. If you are worried, better get some lactaid.

There is no perfect healthcare and if you getting milk products you know you shouldnt eat is the worst thing you can bitch about, Im sorry your treatment is so horrible.

Close. Painful gas and cramping, which the doctors then mistake for the disease.
