I agree with you about the hassles of other inconsiderate people, but you do need to be ready for their retaliation should you actually touch or damage their property that is parked in a public street.

Yup up to and including the person retaliating getting in trouble for breaking the law...etc.

I think you'd be surprised. When you try over and over again to handle something nicely and you want your mail - even it does not fix the problem, it may make you feel better.

I've done the sprinkler thing and my across the street neighbor throws bird seed in the street every day for this exact reason. You're right though, ain't nobody gonna do nuthin.

I would do whatever it took short of touching the vehicle. I like the bird seed idea, and have turned the outlet of a mower toward cars in that kind of situation. I keep a car parked in front of our house now all the time so there's no problems with leaking POS vehicles, blocked driveway, etc.

I think k would order some of those ultra sticky warning parking stickers to put on the window every time it parked there. You know those stickers that never some completely off and are bright orange

Then slice the sticker with a razor blade into a checkerboard making it that much harder to remove.
