No. He's confusing gross revenues with gross pay, and gross margin with net pay. You've taken all your revenues in, and gotten to the part where all your expenses and overhead are covered. You're still not at net pay, you're at gross.

It also depends a lot on what type of hauling the O/O does. I used to see a number of them out at the Port of LA driving old ass, busted up cab-overs. Those were preferred down there because the yard could be quite tight. They weren't much more than yard goats, but those guys could buy a used truck for $15 - $20k, work 9-5, and could get by on $2k a week gross. Most of it will depend on equipment costs and mileage you are traveling.

Not really a fucking dream job. It's a thankless job but it pays the bills. There are owner ops pulling in 2k a week plus so there is $$$ to be made. 12 yrs takes it toll though and listening to cocksuckers like Sean gets old.

2 g a week take home after paying all your shit isn't bad. not an o/o but easily could be. You sound like an asshole yourself so we would get along for about 5 seconds. No o operator in this world would last at 2 g a wk gross.
