    Land owners couldn't provide the deed for the property so they took that too.

    If he won the court case, and it sounds like he would, wouldn't they then be liable for his damages? Wouldn't be possible for him to get them to pay for his lawyer fees, and then tack on some for "money lost" due to not having the trailer, and mental stress, etc?
