You're right about us growing up and having more important shit to occupy our time. That said, I don't mind the board being slow. What kept it hopping in the past was all the drama and hate and sleeping around - youngster shit. While it was entertaining at the time, I would rather have it be slow now, with old school members that have grown up together, than to have a bunch of punk newbies come in and overrun the place with their own same kind of drama we used to have 10+ years ago. Why would I be interested in their shit? I'd just leave. It's slow, but has been for several years, and it's not a big deal, at least to me.

That's precisely why I like this place. Well, one main reason anyway. It's insulated from social media, which I have to use as an extension of work, so there are limitations on what I can say. DFWM provides much more freedom for me.

Hes one of the key reasons a few of the old and many of the new members left. Old members got tired of his dumb shit, and new members didnt realize he was unqualified to dish out the judgement he tried to pass off. He invested way too much of his self worth in this place, and when he saw it was basically dead last year he seems to have realized it was worth nothing.

The last 2-3 years of his posts were just rants with matt and attempting to make himself seem like less of a loser. I dont think he was always that bad...but there were wore members to cloud him out in the past.
