I'd like to see Robert Earl Keen and the Old 97s, but I don't know anybody else playing. Don't listen to much country.

Check out Rodney Parker. He's more like the 97s, from Denton. The O's are pretty much indie, kind of remind me of Beechwood Sparks with more tempo. John David Kent is more along the lines of the rest of the people at Wolf Mardi Gras, but he is less refined. He has one EP out and every song on it is awesome.
