It's pretty clear that you really don't have any desire to have real conversation about things, even though you say you're in for "gentlemanly conversation." Yes, it affects pregnant women, but not as a short term sickness. You understand this affects the fetus/newborn, right? Zika is linked to microcephaly.

This isn't like SARS where it will infect people, they'll do their thing (get sick, live, die, whatever) and move on. This has the ability to affect the next generation.
