How many times has the WHO hyped up a disease in the last 10-20 years? I don't recall a single time where it became a real problem in any country with 1st world health care.

It really does matter in the areas where the virus is present. Those areas have lower quality health care and a reduced ability to prevent the spread of the disease.

I would be more concerned about West Nile....
