It's not a good time. Best of luck to her, CJ.

Clearly it is, and now it's depression time.

Because someone has to handle the parents while the principals are dealing with the kids.

They have been for several years. Benefits? What benefits? It would cost me almost $1000 month to insure my family AND I still wouldn't have a co-pay-that only gets me a 'benefit' of having to pay 30% of total medical bills.

    There have been for years.

Are you saying teachers need across the board pay cuts?

My girl is a teacher for Frisco ISD. They sent an email that said they are good with money, and will not be letting anyone go, but are doing are temporary hiring freeze. I guess it depends where you're at.

    Leah, are you a teacher?
Yes, this is my 11th year. Certified in Special Education, English, ESL and getting my Masters in SpEd with Diagnostician Certification. No one is safe.

I feel for you on the possibility of losing your job Leah, but after seeing every business owner I know having to lay off countless employees, struggle to pay the bills, and have to restructure their entire organization in the past years, I find it hard to empathize.
