Never in a million years 15 years ago could you have told me I'd be in Security Management making what I make or even working in places like Afghanistan or shithole African countries. Now I can't imagine a regular gig back home in the States. I tried to break from this in 2014 and caught tooth and nail to get back.

My wife is a stay at home mom to 5 kids. I've told her a million times that I could never switch places with her. Maybe when the youngest two are in school that thought will change, but for now, ain't no way.

I’ll go ahead and say I’m no Dfwm baller. Never thought I’d be doing anything that didn’t have to do with veterinary medicine of some sort. I now turn wrenches for a living and have been since 9/11. Took a job where I met an old school mechanic (aka the human vice) took me under his wing. Now, Caterpillar calls me when they need info about a certain series of engines.

My stupid mustang hobby turned into a well paying career.

Yep. Wanted to go into Law Enforcement. Went to school for it, tested at some Depts....15 years later I live 1500 miles away in the Oil & Gas Industry and worked my ass off from the ground up in the field. Make great money, work great hours (Now) No complaints. Life is funny that way.
