I have no idea why you guys who pay the bills tolerate such ineptitude/negligence. That's why I stopped doing business with InMotion is because of problems like this.

Just one site I manage on a VPS via Hostgator. 99.912% is my uptime avg. over a period of 10 years.

Also, any good web admin runs a cron job daemon to auto back up your package and ftp it down to alternate location, like your home server. And you can do a rapid install a vB gzip package in no time. You don't have to tolerate stupidity on the part of your host.
