Rent a car and drive somewhere else. And as stated above, there are more places to stay in Vegas than anywhere else. Casinos are the cheapest.

they are in Miami now. in a hotel. only rooms we could find in Vegas was way to expensive. like hundreds of dollars over our budget. the flight from Minneapolis to Vegas was late, so they missed their connecting flight home. had that not happened, they would have been home by noon Monday before it got bad.

My wife and kid where on the way home from a volley ball tournament when this shit happened. Now they are stuck in an airport in Vegas. they are entering day two of this mess. hotels are all booked up and people are just sleeping all over the airport. I've never felt so useless as I do right now being home without them and unable to help. hoping they can get a flight out today.
