Simple cut and built a plate to slide in dividing inlet water and outlet. Of course it is not 100% but 99% will do.

built caps for both sides. I angled the inlet side to match the opposing end.

This piece fits flush inside and I might trim the angled one to do the same.

once we tig a couple tacks on the easy side, I can push the other in to weld it all up.

I also cut off the filler cap and the hose connection then just made 2 round piece that drop in to close them up.

Tomorrow I'm having a cover bent to cover the section of fins I trimmed and give it a finished look then it gets all welded up.

The beginnings of my homemade heat exchanger. A couple pieces of aluminum. a couple -16an weld bungs and a few brackets and I'll be able to mount it between the bumper and fuel tank.

That is not the half of it. Here it is a little further along.

Oil filter mounted. Oil cooler in place with oil lines started. Radiator hoses and filler built.

    With cooler back in

It does and offers a ton of flex and they claim it will hold. I might do a cold side psi check just to be sure.
