Imcompressible fluid? What's wrong with saying, just fluid?

What fluid can be compressed, mr. Smarty pants.
    Air is a fluid

I alway run a fresh motor long enough to make sure there are no leaks and then I take it out and leave it in first gear, hammer on it and let off an let then engine compression brake it self this really puts load on the rings and seats them in. Do this three or four times, let it cool and change the oil. After that its fair game.
This. I've heard to drive the living shit out of it to seat the rings as good as possible. Seating them in too slowly will lead to shitty ring seal.

This article gives some food for thought:

Basically the guys that say run it like ya stole it seem to have some merit.

1k miles isn't that much, I am doing break in also. I for one, am going to break in my new motor the right way after being carless for a few months.....but that's just my opinion.

Money don't grow on trees and oil is expensive. Why waste the money when water works just as well

If they reccommended 1000 miles at nothing over 4k rpms then you out to be able to jack the car up and put it in drive and run it at 12k for 300 miles and knock some time off
