  • Those with Form 1's in with the ATF

I just got a letter returning my two Form 1s and asking for a Declaration of Trust and the Schedule A. After further searching, I found that it varies depending on who reviews your Forms and what mood they are in that day. There is no official stance on requiring them.

So now to put together a Declaration of Trust.

"Please make the appropriate corrections and return with this error letter to the address below. All pending applications will be disapproved if no response is received within 30 days of 6/26/2013. Your cooperation is appreciated."
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.

Did you not include a copy of your trust and schedule a?

That means you didn't include a full trust. (you didn't include a schedule a)

This particular stamp, when did you send it in? go pending? etc? Just wondering where in the process you are at when they sent you this. If all the paper work would have been straight would they have been sending you the stamp soon?

Reminds me I need to call those fuckers. Cashed my check 9/12 and still have nothing. I almost think I got rejected for an error and either never received or accidentally junk mailed the notice.

I have been watching the tracker and people that sent their forms in and went pending in late Nov and early Dec of last year are getting theirs now. You should call asap.

Mid Jan to Feb of 2013. I think, had everything been there, I would be getting a stamp pretty soon. The letter came in while I was out last week. Problem is, I may not be able to send my docs in for a week, maybe. What is everyone using for a Declaration of Trust form?

I do not even know what that is to be honest. I googled it for clarification and cant figure out how it applies to this situation. I sent mine in early Jan and have not had this issue. I did send my schedule A with it though. If I were you I would resend a copy of the trust with the schedule A attached this time. I would also call for clarification on exactly WTF they want so you do not lose the spot in line.

I found this... Clears it up a lil

declaration of trust n. the document signed by a trustor (settlor) creating a trust into which assets are placed, a trustee is appointed to manage the trust (who may be the party who created the trust), the powers and duties of management of the principal and profits of the trust are stated, and distribution of profits and principal is spelled out.
