  • Driveshaft loop

    Installed the driveshaft loop, nothing too exciting, had to bend it in the middle (down) so it would have adequate clearance to the larger OD alum drive shaft.

    Those actually aren't needed if you have an H or X pipe that would capture it before it hits the ground. We have an email chain with a top NASA guy that clarifies it somewhere. I pitched mine years ago.

      Probably still not a bad idea to have the strap at the top . A driveshaft through the floorboard might take out something important.

        Absolutely, I would have run one anyway for safety BUT I am in crunch time so I wish I would have known it wasn't required, I would have skipped it on the first race. Matt, can I run arm restraints instead of a window net? That would also save me some time, I am about to post my todo in another thread if you want to chime in.
