  • Back in a Mustang.

Been about a year since I sold my 21 GT premium. I've bounced around a couple of cars and I've now picked up a 2013 Boss 302. 27K miles on it, basically like new inside and out. Has the Recaro's and the Torsen diff, along with a dealer addon Nav unit. From what I can tell, it's absolutely bone stock. I've had a LOT of mustangs over the years, but nothing has come close to this, you can tell that it's a different animal.

Same, I wanted a white one with the black stripe, but they're really hard to find. There is one in Dallas, but it had 90K miles and IMO is overpriced. I can live with the red one.

When a 2013 model is 10 years old... holy crap time flies.

Tell me about it. My first Mustang was a 96 that I bought in 07, which felt like a complete used shitbox. This one is nearly the same age and still feels like a new car. Funny how that works.

The best solid rear axle pony car ever made! I’ve watched these over the years. My 13 GT was fun, but these are even better. Congrats!

Very nice, I loved my 14 GT for the 6 or 7 years that I owned it, the Boss would be even better! I assume you're leaving it stock?

I figured that out on the first sharp corner. I didn't know it was possible for a SRA to grip like that. It's up there with RX8's and Miatas on the twistys.

The only plan I've got for it is a T56 swap when that junk MT82 shits the bed. It has the usual "mustang stuff" done from the factory. Gearing is perfect, exhaust note is excellent, ride height is fine, wheels look good, and the track key is basically a tune. Basically the only thing left is forced induction, but I feel like the power is perfectly tuned to the chassis right now.

Same. I always get excited about a new car, but this one feels special for me.

I do too, but this is my first dip into the 5.0L years, but even the 3V cars were fun.

Thanks. Just have to watch my speed in it, the red is a neon sign.

                        Very nice find!

Those car really move, a CAI and toon for 93 really gives you mo powa! Since its out of warranty might as well get all you can. LT's and full exhuast too, you might as well go all the way...

edit; forgot about the RED key and just saw your post, so only CAI and you're good.

Full exhaust and intake picking up 40RWP might make it worth the gigantic pain in the ass of installing headers. Every single time I've done headers, no matter the car, I am always regretting my decision about 3 hours in.

I hear ya amd I've done my fair share of SBF and SBC, but 4v mod motors, forgeht bout it! I've done a set of shorties and didn't even bother with LT, I had those done and will never do it again, I will pay, no matter the cost, lol.

I just did them on a 70 Buick with a manual transmission. The Buick 350 is NOT designed for easy header access. Took me three days, my hands were mangled, and several 3/8th wrenches got hurled across the shop. Gonna pay someone next time.
