I buy direct off their website. It’s often cheaper. I got an e mail coupon today SPRINGVIP20 for 20% off. I’ve been wearing their stuff for a while now though and know my size. REI has a good selection but their prices are stupid.

i wore the bass boots because of temps . when i moved there i froze to death the first winter. friggin cowboy boots in snow sucks . the bass boots were heavy ass leather and water proof . not sure of the insulation but my feet stayed warm and dry .

I don't do a ton of hiking, just a couple times a year, but I've been happy with my Columbia hiking shoes for dirt trails. Had the same pair of Vasque boots for probably 10 years for rocky stuff.

Avoid anything store brand (Such has Redheads from Cabela's/BPS). Those fucking suck.

Everything is baller status these days. I'll make a guess: Decent pair starts at $230. Best ones go up to $1,200.
