Default Have You Ever Had Your Papers Checked?

Just curious, have you ever been checked in the field?
I've been visited by BATF for fireworks but, who checks
in the field especially if local LE is now not allowed?

I got stopped by a game warden once for hunting on my in-laws property. Lots of complaints of trespassing through the years and go figure they bust someone who actually has permission. Dumbass came out of the woods and had 0 orange on. Checked my license and had me verify who the owner was. That’s the only time for me.

I accidentally scared the living snot out of a game warden in Fannin County some years back and he asked to see the paperwork for my suppressor. It was in the middle of the night in the man nearly stepped on me.

Did you try that Sovereign Citizen BS where you just barely cracked the window and asked if were free to go over and over?

I've had a Game Warden stop me when hunting to see my license, and had another GW stop us while boating to write me a ticket for expired registration and do a "safety inspection".

Once had a game warden check my hunting license and plug in my shotgun, and made sure I was using steel shot, while duck hunting on Lake Lewisville a long time ago. Only other time was dove hunting public land in Denton, game warden checked my license and plug.

I got checked for papers on my suppressor and SBR once. Sheriffs Deputy.

We were shooting hogs on some land around Gordonville and some of the neighbors called it in. They had reports of "full auto" weapons fire.

We had zero full auto. The other two guys had bolt action rifles, I had a suppressed, short barreled AR15.

No drama, just wanted to see the forms. All ended well. And we killed 14 pigs.

I have not been checked on the forms for my suppressors, but I do keep pictures of them on my phone to be able to show, and leave the originals in the safe.

I got stopped at one of those border check stations near El Paso in early 2005. It was about 2 in the morning and the guy who came up to my car looked tired as hell and when he asked me if I was a US citizen I started speaking to him in German; you should have seen the look on his face.

I got escorted to the border in Juarez by the Mexican Federales.

Does that count?

They do not mind you watching the donkey show but they really get bent out of shape when you try to participate in it. Just try to remember that next time.

I keep miniaturized copies in my wallet, and laminated copies in that rifles bag.

Is that that park somewhere in dallas county, where people go off roading and abandon vehicles? The place where nobody would want to be at night cause there's all manner of weirdos crawling through there at all hours.
