Default 4bangen's 72 Rivi FINALLY

So I think I killed this thing back in 2005.
I always had something more important to do, and never fixed the car.
About a year ago I picked up a 70 rivi with a fresh motor in it for less than I could have my motor rebuilt. So me and a good friend tore it out of the 70 and went to put it into my rivi. Long story short I forgot to change the oil pan on the 70 and it didn't fit in my car. It was summer, we were hot and tired and said Fuck it and pushed it back in the garage. More time passed and I never got back on it.
Well this past weekend, at good guys, my dad kept giving me crap about getting it on the road. SO my goal is to have it at good guys in October.
after that I may decide to do something dumb....

I've always liked those cars but were they like Model T's? You can buy one in any color you want as long as it's brown.

And looks like you made some progress on your van, post up some pics.

the van just got some fog lights. It's getting some real work soon though.

I'm going to stay big block for now.
as for this weekend, I got next to nothing done.we did move the car to a more workable position. Turning around a non running rivi is a 3 person job. I did stop half way though and snap some pics mid move.
Current plans are to keep it 455 powered, add 17" rally wheels, and lower it a bit. Oh and find a front bumper. I already have a new grill.

once she's back driving, I'll either sell it at good guys or turbo it. lol

It is. My grandpa had it redone like 15 years ago. The headliner even looks brand new still.
Pop always thought it best to restore from the inside out.
