Here it is, this is where my dad left it.
It's mine now. And the build starts.

Yeah. He's had it since I was 17 years old. I'm now 32 lol. So it's been a while. Actually did some work on it today.

Dang man, that's a big job. You are a champion for bringing this one back to life. Some of my know how is 65-66 specific, but if you have any questions, let me know.

It's great that most of the sheetmetal is repop'd but that is still a ton of work. 2 thumbs up for tackling it.

What are your plans for it? Stock resto or modified? Somewhere in the middle?

Got a secret plan for the motor that I'll get crap for I'm sure lol but I want something different.
But yeah it'll be somewhere in the middle. I'm gonna update the seats and fuel inject it with whatever motor I choose. It'll be great. I can't wait. I have more parts to pick up tomorrow

Thought about it. If anything I'll go back in and do it. Don't have the extra money right now for that. Still really need to get the body issues and rust situated first.

Well my honest plan for it is either a modern 5.7 or 6.1 hemi with a 545rfe trans modeled after an 05 Dodge Ram. Should be slick and WAY different. I've only seen one other modern-ish mustang with a modern hemi. I believe is was an 89 Lx Coupe, the guy did a 5.7 hemi.
