Sweet, I don't envy you with the clutch work though.

Me either. It would have been an easy job during the motor swap.

During the summer I swapped the AOD in the old F150 for a 5-speed. Damn transmission are getting heavier. Had to get my son to help out a bit. Back in the day it was difficult but doable if help wasn't readily available.

4Bangen, glad that the Ranger is moving under its own power again. Whole it would be great to have shiny paint job I'm really digging the patina look.

I have no desire to paint this truck. it would require body work on every inch of every panel. I'd rather put my time and money into drivability and performance.

good plan, plus you'd never get the money back out of it.

Yes, it does. I have one also. Couldn't have done it without it but still needed an extra set of hands in a few situations.

Your car is turning out beautifully. But, same as above more than likely.

Finally after being neglected for 2 years, the old ranger is back on the road! clutch still isn't happy, but she's putting in work. I drove it to work today and even though I worried over every little noise and smell, I was still so damn happy. Now on to the thunderbird!

Do you work in the Donut shop?

Glad that it is on the road again. That's got to be a great feeling.

I'm fighting my old boost controller that has decided it doesn't want to do anything anymore, other than that she's been doing great. putting a radio in it this weekend and maybe installing a heater finally.
