Looks good man. Why didn't you just use a flaming river manual rack? Was the price for the mustang II that much cheaper? That actually looks like a FR rack, I'm just trying to figure out why you went with the mustang II rack? Learn me please...

way cheaper! $90 to my door. Still have a ton of new part to buy, have to fit them all into the budget. its a nice rack. M2 racks have a 16" center to center mount. Fox mount is 15.5" center to center. Got it on eBay. Like most of my new shit. lol

Thanks! It took a lot of cleaning before I could paint. When I am finished, you will only see one small wire harness for the engine/injectors inside the bay.

Thanks!
Every major system has been or will be reworked/upgraded by the time I finish.

Isnt the MustangII rack shorter than the fox rack? Wont that affect bumpsteering?

Its the same size as my power rack that I pulled. Only difference is the mounting space. You can order the M2 rack in custom shorter lengths.

Had to relocate alternator because it was in the way of the distributor. So i made a new mount.

I ended up sending my whole tranny out to get done. The parts were $909 for what he did and he is assembling everything, cleaning all cases, and reassembling for $150 more... I think it is well worth it in the end. I should have it back on March 30th! |
