Default How to remove stripping paint

Well my wife ran over a bunch of stripping paint on the highway that fell off a truck. Its on the wheel wells and rocker panels. Any idea, that crap is hard

I called txdot after I got a bunch on my truck and they told me to use warm soapy water to get it off

I have a little experience with it. If you wanna bring it by the shop I can try some things at it. But typically a body solvent with a plastic razor blade, followed by some machine polishing to clean it up.

A rigid, plastic bondo putty spreader and ice cubes for the body paint, the rubber inner liners are toast, I just buy new ones and replace them or eventually, road grime/dirt/mud will cover those up. Good luck, that shit sucks!

Oh yeah, I forget about that stuff, it works great, especially on road tar, old window tint glue, stealership emblems and old stickers.
