TV For Bedroom

NEX will have a 55" Sony BRAVIA 1080P LED for $799. No Tax. Is that a good deal???

Unless your bedroom is closet-sized, you won't notice. Along with weighing about half, my newer plasma's don't throw out near the heat of the other's I've had.

I guess they gotten better. My 50" Samsung plasma is probably 5-6 years old, and it heats the entire room several degrees in no time. It did this in a good-sized master bedroom. It could be 68 in the house and 75 in the bedroom if the TV was on for a while. If you walk past it from 2-3 feet away, you can feel the wave of heat like walking Past an oven or a fireplace. Ive had two of the same TV, and they both do it. That's my only complaint with the big plasmas. But it's nice to know that maybe they've changed. I do love the picture quality.

If the extra $150 doesn't bother you, go 55", but 46" is plenty big.

Weird, mine doesn't do anything like that. I kinda wish it would because for some reason my room is the coldest in the house, ha.

I saw that but there's no way I'm going to wait in some long crazy line. The Navy Exchange is going to have a few good deals but the ones that caught my attention are a 46" Sony Bravia LED ($649) & a 55" Sony Bravia LED ($799). Both are the Slim Models & Smart TV's.

I purchased a Samsung 46" LED Smart TV for $789 & No Tax. Wondering if I should return it for one of these other 2 TV's. One is a LG 47" & the other is a Sharp 52". If I return it I will have to pay Tax at Best Buy. Take a look at these 3 TV's & tell me which you fellas would recommend for a bedroom. Distance is about 10'-11' from head board to the wall where the TV will be mounted on. Thanks!
