A simple/basic looking head unit?

I need to replace the radio in my truck. I don't want any colors or a bunch of flashy display crap. Needs to be up to date...bluetooth/SD and so on.

Any suggestions?

Most will have USB. Most won't have SD. USB uses D/A in the deck which is better than in iPod/iPhone so it will sound better than streaming or AUX input.
A better deck will sound better. Alpine CDE-147BT (less than $199) is the lowest featured model I would recommend and it is loaded. They do have much less expensive units including a unit without CD for less than $100 that has USB, aux, am/fm, and Bluetooth. Some basic decks will not have the ability to add steering wheel controls if you have them.

My Kenwood Excelon is all basic plain, zero colors at all.

Look at the kenwood X996.

I have the KDC-X794 in my blazer and its done everything I could ask but lacks Bluetooth.
