If you can't see the differences between this team and the 06 team, you can't possibly have watched more than 5 minutes of maverick basketball. Or you're just not paying any attention, at all.

My only concern is that OKC still hung in until the end of the game despite a rediculous showing from our bench and Dirk. Hopefully the Mavs can get Kidd, Peja etc back in the groove of putting up points because as much as I want to see it, Dirk can't carry us through this series without some reliable help.

I know Durant won't put up 40 each night either, but he picked up when others weren't making shots.

This is going to be a damn good series. We'll probably be the only Mavs fans in Harris' out in San Fran tomorrow nnight cheering them on for sure.

Totally agree with you Adam. We can count on Dirk and Durant doing there things but it's really going to come down to who's teams role players show up.

This. Durant showed too much frustration last night. It was obvious as soon as the second half started he was really getting annoyed with how the game was going.

The whole OKC team was showing frustration and looking like a bunch of kids crying because their mom took away their best porno mag. The refs got inside their head and you can't do that in playoff basketball.

Yup, one of the many reasons you don't normally see super young teams like this in the Finals. OKC is in a win-win situation right now anyway. Who expected them to be in the conference finals in their third year as a franchise with their oldest starting player being 26 years old? Lose the series and it's valuable playoff experience, win the series and it's holy shit they're going to the Finals.

I'm still pretty pumped about that game last night! That crowd was into it for sure. I had a pretty decent amount of OKC fans around me last night and they were pretty cool. Kind of funny how their jersey's blend right in with our Royal Blue shirts. My wife turned to me at halftime and said I better get tickets to the game Thursday. WOOHOO!! Got some good seats for a good price on ebay. This every other playoff game BS with my ticket plan blows.

On another note.. is anyone seriously going to OKC for game 3 or 4? We have a babysitter lined up and my wife requested off work so we can go to Game 4. Would be nice to have some fellow stangers up there! There are a decent amount of 300 level tickets for around $100 each for Game 4.

The Mavs looked rusty and the Thunda looked tired, all except for Dirk and Kevin, the Mavs bench being deep won the game.
I see the Thunda making some adjustments to double maybe even triple Dirk but then that will only open up everyone else, Mavs win tomorrow too, "and you can put it in three inch headlines", lol!
