Thanks! I still think Ed Reed! I don't really follow Troy but I have noticed his numbers have started to decline recently if I'm not mistaken, correct me if I'm wrong but he didn't do all that well last season.

Sharper was injured most of the season last year but the previous year before that I believe he led the NFL in interceptions and was a big part of the Saints winning the Super Bowl. With that said I think he will have a bounce back year along side Malcom Jenkins and Roman Harper. I only expect to see Sharper play 1-2 more full seasons.


Neither Ed or Troy have started a full season since 2008 so it's really hard to say. Both are matched up well but I'm going out on a limb and taking Reed.

Ed Reed accumulated 8 interceptions in 10 games last season along with 16 passes deflected. Compared to Troy's 7 interceptions in 14 games with 11 deflections.

To answer the question. Reed is older than dirt. Polamalu has a bigger impact on his team. When he is out, that defense sucks. This shouldn't even be a question if you're comparing those two. It's not even a question. Polamalu by a fucking mile.

No body is comparing Berry or Mays to those guys..... At least I wasn't.


We'll see what happens with Mays over the years. Physically he is a freak.
