Didn't someone else die falling over the rail in right field a year or two after The Ballpark opened? Wonder how that person's family feels about the statue.

A lady fell during the first ever game and landed on some netting, she was fine afterwards.

If they do it as a memorial to firefighters in general then I'm for it.

At least this guy wasnt trying to be wreckless like the guy that almost fell during the home run derby in Arizona. But I just still think this is a bad PR move for the Rangers. Its been what a little over a month. Its not really fresh on people's minds like it was when it first happened. I felt the right move to do was dedicate a day to him, or a game to him once a year.
