I wouldn't say he had poor judgement in his decision making. If you are getting offered to make shit ton of money EVERYWHERE, why not go to the team favored to win it all?Originally posted by Vertnut View PostCliff Lee is sitting at home watching the ALCS just like the rest of us, due to his poor judgement involving his contract. Piss on him.
Not defending him, just the logic behind it.
He is still an asshole.

Him thinking he was going to the team that "would win it all", kind of shows bad judgement. Think Miami Heat, the "best team money can buy". I hope they never win another play-off game.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostI wouldn't say he had poor judgement in his decision making. Wonder how much of his decision was based on the fact that it's too fucking hot in that stadium.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostCliff Lee is sitting at home watching the ALCS just like the rest of us, due to his poor judgement involving his contract. Piss on him.
And he probably enjoys pitching in front of sell out crowds at home.

Im not going to rag on Cliff Lee for going to the Phillies. He said he liked the team, the clubhouse when he was there before. Philadelphia does have some of the best hospitals and cancer centers for his kid. He took less money from the Phillies instead of an offer with the Rangers or the Yankees. Can't compare Lee to Lebron. Lee has shown that he can be an elite player in the post season. Lebron never has.Los Angeles Rams 11-5

I couldn't be there, but I had the home theater cranked up to nearly full tilt in the late innings. Listening to them chant Nap-o-li was cool as hell. I could hear the crack of the bat on some hits pretty good too. Not the same, but I guess the next best thing.Originally posted by Kenny_Stang View PostI was at the game, and man that walk off grand slam was insane. What a game. After leaving the bases loaded in the ninth, it took the wind out of the ballpark, but our bullpen was just completely lights out. It was amazing to hear the chants for Nap-o-li, hear the crowd explode every time we scored a run... never been to a game like that.
