The same clowns that had New York to win the pennant last year, Texas to win the World Series, and Philadelphia to beat New York in the World Series this year.Originally posted by black2002ls View PostBased on the National Broadcast commentary.

OK, you've made me get to a real keyboard.Originally posted by Slowhand View Postlol, his job is to get the ball accurately to first. if his job was to just get it in the general vicinity then I'd be playing college ball right now.
He did get the ball accurately to first. Did the first baseman catch it? Yes. Did the first baseman get the ball and make the tag? Yes.
So pray tell, how is it Kinsler's fault?

Napoli had to jump up and to his left to get that ball. It was not accurately thrown.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostOK, you've made me get to a real keyboard.

Napoli made a good play on it. It was not accurate. Kinsler and the umpire both screwed up. I agree that now the argument is over.Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostIt was accurate enough to get the job done. End of argument.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyHOORAY ME and FUCK YOU!

Kinsler delivered the ball and it reached it's intended target to make the play.
Nowhere does it say each play has to be textbook picture perfect. That's why the GD umpire is on the bag. If each play had to be perfect or it was a gimme, they could upm from the stands.
Kinsler did his job. Just because it wasn't a perfect throw does not give the umpire slack to make a WRONG call.

I'm not excusing the fact that the umpire made a terrible call. I believe my first post on it was "how does the umpire miss that call?" I'm not saying it has to be a perfect throw, but it was a bad throw. If the first baseman has to make anything more than a regular effort to catch the ball (coming off the base, jumping, digging it out of the dirt, etc.) it is not accurately thrown. If Napoli jumps off the base and drops it or can't get the tag down in time, is it still accurately thrown?Originally posted by 03trubluGT View PostNegative Ghost Rider.
