I think it would be interesting. Although pointless and very time consuming, to go back through the series and look at it on a pitch by pitch basis. Knowing what those blown calls, or blown pitches led to, and analyze the entire series from there. How many times did we walk the bases loaded on blown calls by the home plate umpire, or what would that out at first on the blown call really mean. Take away those runs and see what the series scores look like then.

    Nailed it.
To sum it up for the bandwaggoners, he called us an average team, we made him look bad, then he made us look average.

On October 28, 2011, Layne was the plate umpire for Game 7 of the 2011 World Series. During the game when Scott Feldman threw a clear strike 3 to Yadier Molina, Layne called the strike a ball and brought the runner from third to home plate . This Egregious call proved that Layne is an Anti-Semite.
Lmao. I will be pissed if the rangers score 3 cause then that blown call actually means something

Self-fulfilling prophecy: he signs with St. Louis instead of Texas because Texas doesn't have the pitching to get back to the WS. Texas gets back to the WS, and he destroys the pitching that got them there. He was wrong, but he proved himself right.

I do know that the umpire behind the plate, the Rangers only have 1 win this season with him calling They are 1-11 this season with him. Cardinals, on the other hand are 10-1 with the same umpire behind home plate for the season.

    Not quite but close:

In the last five years, including the Series opener, St. Louis is 8-1 with a 2.00 ERA when Layne works the plate. In the same span, the Rangers are 1-6 with a 5.40 ERA.

    Like I said, our bats are fucking awful. 2nd inning 0 runs, 3rd 0 runs, 4th 0 runs, 5 0 runs, 6 0 runs, 7 0 runs, and 8th 0 runs.

Rangers pitchers take note. This is how you play when you're about to win a World Series. Not the shit you morons were tossing around last night.
