It doesn't happen against good offensive teams, either: Boston, Toronto, Seattle, and Oakland.

Seattle and Oakland are terrible, but Boston scored more runs than any team in baseball this year and only 4 teams in the AL had more runs than toronto, 3 of which won their divisions.

Anyway, this is a pointless arguement as we have no say in this decision and Harrison is starting

This is very true, but in a "real" situation where I was actually making the decisions I would more than likely start Harrison as well. From my arm chair manager position though, I like Holland

I think he was referring to hopping on and off the bandwagon; they've been stuck on this Rangers bandwagon for far longer than they bargained for. They thought it was going to be an excuse to look cool in front of their buddies and get drunk for a week or two and then it turned into a month-plus.
