From what I saw this morning, JoePa was told about some inappropriate incidents but didn't know details or anything about rape. He reported it to his superiors and no action was taken. Not sure how much he should be accountable for, he isn't being charged (so far) either.

So news coming out of PA is that Second Mile might have been pimping those kids out to high profile rich men.Originally posted by talismanI wonder if there will be a new character that specializes in bjj and passive agressive comebacks?Originally posted by AdamLXIf there was, I wouldn't pick it because it would probably just keep leaving the game and then coming back like nothing happened.Originally posted by BroncojohnnyBecause fuck you, that's whyOriginally posted by 80coupenice dick, Idrivea4bangerOriginally posted by Rick Modena......and idrivea4banger is a real person.Originally posted by JesterMan ive always wanted to smoke a bowl with you. I heard that too. These are all rumors for now, but it is starting to look like a juvenile prostitution ring is being uncovered. And all under the nose of, if not with the tacit approval of, Penn State administration. Crazy!Originally posted by idrivea4banger View PostSo news coming out of PA is that Second Mile might have been pimping those kids out to high profile rich men. When the government pays, the government controls.

Oh, so if it wasn't rape he gets a pass? ANY inappropriate "incidents" should have been reported to staff, and the police. Rape or not, do much as fondling is a punishable offense.Originally posted by exlude View PostFrom what I saw this morning, JoePa was told about some inappropriate incidents but didn't know details or anything about rape. I had a lot of respect for JoePa. I've lost it all in a matter of days. He knew something. And he didn't do anything but tell the school staff. That's inexcusable in my eyes.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Would you feel any different if you knew the staff he told controlled the campus police?Originally posted by bcoop View PostOh, so if it wasn't rape he gets a pass? Regardless who he told, he knew about it for 10 more years, and knew the guy never got in trouble. If I told my superior, and something wasn't done that day or the next, I would be calling the police. End of story.

Herp. Derp. Good assumption.Originally posted by bcoop View PostOh, so if it wasn't rape he gets a pass? ANY inappropriate "incidents" should have been reported to staff, and the police. Rape or not, do much as fondling is a punishable offense.

But back into non-fanatic land, he didn't know nearly as much as we know now. We was given minimal information and did report it to the staff. Dunno about the campus police. I'm not leaning either way. I don't think he's a saint, but not the devil incarnate either. Time should tell.

This is no assumption. Last count I heard was 40-50 counts. I'm sure it's all a conspiracy...And when the staff did nothing, he should have taken it to the local PD. I never said anything about the campus police. They could cover it up just as easily as the AD did. This is a man who in his years has worked with tons of kids. And I'd say a good amount of them were troubled. He knows first hand what the alleged actions would do to a child. If I ever had so much as a suspicion (and JoePa ha plenty reason to be suspicious), I'd go to the authorities. Let them do an investigation and figure it out.
If herp deep is reporting possible child abuse to the police, then yeah, I'll herp deep it up. I can't believe some of you are saying he don't do anything wrong. Shows a lot about your character.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

But apparently some kids at Penn State thinking rioting is a good way to show Joe Pa did everything right.
You don't think sitting by and doing nothing about alleged abuse says anything about someone's character? Sure, there may not hae been 40-50 instances at that time, but the suspicion was there. And he was busted red handed by other school staff, including a janitor. And he did nothing.
Perhaps I'm touchy because I have kids, and can't fathom how someone could not alert the authorities on suspicion alone. Perhaps I'm touchy because I have a close relative that was abducted and molested as a child. But I think everyone that knew ANYTHING and didn't alert the authorities needs to be charged, and let the judges and lawyers sort it out.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Jesus Christ bcoop, I've never seen someone so hell bent on twisting words since my ex. I never said that he gets a pass because it was or wasn't rape, so yes that was an assumption on your part. And here you go again with a load of ad hominem bullshit in this post. There is all of 1 count in this where JoePa is mentioned in any type of involvement and it's that a grad student came to him having witnessed something. As far as the testimonies go, what JoePa was told ranges from anal rape to horsing around. And when the grad student talked to the AD, JoePa wasn't there.Originally posted by bcoop View PostThis is no assumption. Last count I heard was 40-50 counts. I think 95% of the people in America would alert the authorities, I don't know why Joe is in the majority on that though. Maybe he thought he was alerting the authorities by talking to the guy that ran the campus police, but that sure as hell doesn't explain how he didn't bring it up when no action was taken after he alerted them.
