Romo still can't win the big one, even in 'most overrated' poll

We've reached the midpoint of the season, which means various lists and polls are a staple of NFL-related content.

Earlier Wednesday, we learned via SI.com that Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is the league's best-dressed player, which is cool and all, but it doesn't change the fact that he cries himself to sleep every night watching Kurt Warner on NFL Network.

We've previously documented polls determining the league's most disliked player (Michael Vick in a landslide) and the league's dirtiest player (Ndamukong Suh, also in a landslide that was grabbed by its helmet and flung to the ground).

Now we've come across a poll from Sporting News (via The Denver Post), which asked 111 players from 31 teams, “Who is the most overrated player in the NFL?”

This is the part where we'd love to tease the story by saying, "The answer might surprise you!"

Unfortunately, we can't do that. It's Tim Tebow.

The Broncos quarterback received 22 votes, just beating out Cowboys signal-caller and reliable whipping boy Tony Romo. Jets QB Mark Sanchez -- likely still hurting in the respect department after that sensual GQ shoot -- took the bronze medal with nine votes.

Check out the list below, and feel free to try to figure out which two players actually believe Darrelle Revis is overrated. We're guessing Champ Bailey and Nnamdi Asomugha.

I think to beat the Bills, the Cowboys need to bring the pressure to Ftizpatrick. I think the thing Dallas has in their favor is that Fitzpatrick isnt as mobile as Tavaris Jackson. Also they needs to be able to stop Fred Jackson who has been a duel threat RB for the this year.
