    Uh... read this again:

Every time he strings together a few good games, we all get suckered into believing that he's finally got it figured out...then he goes out and proves us all wrong. But it's got to stop at some point - he stops having good games, he stops having bad games, or he does both and retires.

Just look at the team as a whole the past 3-4 weeks. Compare it to the beginning of the season. Or hell, even last year. They are looking at their first potential 1,000 yd rusher since 200andfucking6.

I know the two feed off of each other. I am saying he can't be the focal point of the offense. They have made him the focal point for so long and it hasn't gotten them anywhere. Get him a good running game, and then when he has to make plays let him make them. Don't go as far as him being a game manager, but don't let him act like he is Aaron Rodgers. Somewhere right in the middle.

I don't disagree with either of those. This was just something to make people think on a slow day.

Just a few stats to stir the proverbial pot.

Romo has thrown 1 pick in his last 172 passes.
Romo had a QB rating of 148.x on Sunday, after completing 23-26. Only once in his career has he had a higher QB rating, and it was against TB back in 2006 (I believe).
There is not a QB in the league that has a higher 4th quarter QB rating.

So, since those back to back to back to back picks earlier this year, has he turned a corner for good?

Sure he has. He has looked otherworldly for the last few games.

For Romo, the highs are really high, and the lows are REALLY LOW. He is a rollercoaster that never gets completely off track, he just goes up and down and throws you all over the place. You can't believe totally in him because he can't be consistent. And the one season he was consistent, they lost to the Giants in the playoffs, at home.

Not saying he isn't good, because I think he is as talented as every QB with the exception of Brady, Manning and Rodgers. I am saying I don't think he is a leader that is going to carry a team on his back. He needs a complete running game to do it.
