And who won the game? Bring out all the stats you want but what was the final score.

It wouldn't have been that close if A&M had been flagged for holding on EVERY play at the end of the game. They were blocking in the back on almost every kick to UT, and that didn't get called until well into the game. Once UT's defense got into the game the A&M O-line couldn't handle them. A&M's final drives wouldn't have gone anywhere if the officials would have made EASY holding calls. To be non-biased, Texas did get away with one obvious holding call that I saw in the final drive.

And in response to that mouthy little bitch, Craig James, no one takes him seriously. UT got flagged for a player basically pushing someone out of bounds. If they get flagged for that, then yes, A&M deserves a penalty for watching a receiver miss a ball, taking two steps and then going high on him, resulting in helmet-to-helmet. Does it suck that it happened? Yes, just as bad as Texas putting in a reserve D-lineman that makes a stupid late hit that extends an A&M drive. Does that negate the fact that it happened? No.

And yes, I would also call it a great win. Let's recap: UT is a team still rebuilding that had no hopes of doing anything great this year, who was starting a QB that anyone with half a brain can see is horrible. Then, going forward to this game is playing the 2-qb system between a True freshman and a sophomore (with the starter for this game having sat on his ass for a few weeks now) with no good receivers (obvious Shipley is NOT 100% yet) and their best RB out for the season. Game results in beating A&M, who is always pumped up to play UT, at one of the hardest stadiums to play in, to get scoreboard on Aggies for ~10 years. Yeah, great win.

The schedule is set for damn near the next decade; it doesn't matter what the people that have the power in the schedule want right now.

If a blown call with 1 min left is a great win, then it was just that! the tu fans around me couldn't believe that call. It meant the W for them.....12 1st downs the ENTIRE game or avg of 3 per quarter. Tannehill played like crap and both running backs out so I'm not saying we played good cause the offense sucked, but the D played great. They didn't deserve to lose, especially that way. Great game though, the stadium was nuts after that last touchdown

Hard to believe TAMU was ranked in the top 10 preseason and they will barely make a bowl game this year. Not a good way to enter the SEC

Well that was a fitting way to end the rivalry. Pretty much sums up the entire rivalry in one football game.

A lot of great rivalries are dying in college football.

Texas A&M, not getting it done, even with 12 men.

That was too close. Enjoy getting beat in the SEC instead of the Big 12.
