Yeah. I just saw he signed for a year. Don't know much about him though. Supposedly he's here to back up JKidd.

I don't care for him, he's never really been reliable. Alot of off-court issue's with him as well.

With all this, if we're done, I think we did ok. The only question is what will Haywood bring to the table this year. If he can be an 8pt/10 reb guy, we'll be real tough. If he's the same guy who shot a career low 30% at the line again, we're in trouble. No way we replace Chandler's defense, which hurts bad, but I think we're a top 5 team in the West.
I mean think about it. Dirk/Matrix/Odom...that's a pretty solid front court. Kidd still runs things with Carter/Jet at Guard. I think we're ok. Old, but ok. Still curious how next year is gonna pan out.

Just heard Mavs traded Rudy Fernandez & Corey Brewer for a future round draft pick, I forgot to which team though.

Now this definitely shows the Mavs are getting ready to make a big offer to someone, why trade 2 young, talented players? Mavs aren't getting younger, they're about to do some shopping!

listening to Cuban it was because when they aquired them they told them that they would be a big part of this team. However with the additons of Carter and Odom, Cuban thought it would be best for the Mavs and them that they go to another team to get more playing time than they would get here in Dallas.

The move wipes about $5.2 million off the books for this season, which will leave the Mavs just over the $70.3 million luxury tax threshold. It also leaves them with two roster spaces open and Dallas can now target two more veterans on minimum deals, perhaps a center such as still available free-agent big man Joel Przybilla or others. Center is Dallas' top position of need.
