I wonder how expensive Mario Manningham is going to be? I think he would be a perfect #3 behind Dez and Austin. I haven't heard anything about the Cowboys even expressing interest in him though. I guess he is either wanting too much money, or wants to be a starter. Otherwise i don't see why we wouldn't at least look into manningham.

I've always been a fan of his, even back in his college days at Michigan. I'm sooo glad that he's no longer a Giant. He's a damn good receiver, would be a good reliable target for Bradford.

agreed, and we need receivers that are good playmakers and can reliable. Bradford's only reliable WR's in his short career have been Mark Clayton and Danny Amendola.

Hmm...that's a thinker. Welker is just a better version of Amendola, so it all comes down to: Is he a 2nd round pick better? If it was a 3rd I would say yes, but a 2nd is pushing it.

yea, Welker was franchised tag this offseason so he only has a 1 year deal worth 9.4 Million. I'd do the trade if we don't get Justin Blackmon in the draft

All that means is that if he doesn't cut it the first year they can cut him and they're only out 1.2 million instead of a huge chunk. They won't keep him on for a second year worth 14.3 million if he doesn't cut it the first year. That is a very common pay structure for teams wanting to make sure they aren't bringing in guys like Albert Haynesworth that get fat paychecks and don't perform.
