All BJJ black belts are not created equal. JDS may have a solid ground game where he can defend well enough, but then you have a beast like Mir who can break holds with insane power in addition to all that leverage plus his long limbs for transitions/sweeps.

IF it gets to the ground, JDS is screwed. Mir better smother JDS not giving him any range to punch or it could be a short night ending in a nap for Mir.

I'm really rooting for Mir to win. I'd like to see him get his title back because he really deserves it, especially after the way he lost it. The key for Mir is to stay off the damn fence and get it to the ground.

Don't care much who wins. But agreed; this would be the more interesting win.

JDS and Mir is just one of those fights that can go either way. If JDS touches Mir's chin, done deal. If it hits the ground, Mir is taking one of JDS's limbs home with him.
