Parents fighting at a Little League game

I helped my dad coach my brothers little league team and his tournament team and there were a LOT of close calls but never saw an actual physical altercation. I was in High School at the time and thought it was fucking hilarious that the parents were that crazy. Saw many-a-parents kicked out of games for cussing out coaches, refs, and other parents.

Sad. It is so bad in Haslet that they have a whole separate set of rules because of one parent/coach in 8u baseball. 5 seconds with that asshole, and you would see why they have the "new" rules.
My son's team went undefeated, and gave that jerk his only two losses. Karma is a bitch, boy.

I was an assistant coach of a soccer team over 10 years ago and we had dads go to start fights. My buddy and I ended up coaching the team because none of the parents wanted to. The parents tried to come after us if we pulled their kid out of the game. The parents didn't know the head coach's dad was the head of the north Texas soccer association, so we had him come watch the parents one game. After the game he told the parents if he gets any more complaints police officers would escort their kids to the games from the parking lots and the parents would be banned. Never had another issue, but I haven't coached since. Don't want to dick with it again.Originally posted by Vertnut View PostNot that uncommon anymore. It would happen a couple of times a year when I lived in Desoto. When I coached my girls in soccer, we had dads go after each other on two occassions. Both times I had to go before the North Texas Soccer Association for hearings, even though I was never directly involved. When I was a kid, our parents NEVER came onto the field for any reason at all, and we never saw altercations between parents.
