I can't imagine that Olt as a ton of current trade value with his start to the season + current weird ass vision problems. It's a weird "injury" with no diagnosis and no timetable for return.

Lol.. These were season ticket seats owned by a company. Nobody else was using them so they were given to the account manager assigned to my company and he took me and a couple of coworkers. Face value on the tickets was only $65, which surprised me.. Of course I'm sure that's with the discount for being part of the full season package.

I'm just hoping he "spreads the love" more often now that he knows we are interested.

Speaking of Philly, it looks like Cliff Lee may be on his way out soon. I wonder if the Rangers will vie for his services at the trade deadline? Now that 2 years of his contract is gone, that remaining 2.5yrs at about $60 mil don't look so bad. Darvish and him at the front of the rotation...I'd take it.

Lee is not what he used to be, imo. I also don't see Daniels going out on a limb for him after he bailed on us last time.

Again, I don't want to trade for him, but you guys keep saying that and I don't know where you're getting the impression from. His current ERA is just about as low as it's ever been (2.48; career best is a 2.40); his current WHIP is a 1.018 (career best is a 1.003). Yes, it's early and those numbers are subject to a lot of change from here on out, but he's throwing as well now as he ever has, and even better than he was throwing when the hooplah first came out about him 3-4 years ago.

Nor do I, at least not at what it would cost. I don't really have any pent up anger towards the guy, but I don't see it happening anyway. Still, he's pitching as well as he ever has. No guarantee that it will continue for two more seasons, though.
