They really need to work on that position in the off season. None of the current catchers are worth a shit defensively. Torrealba was better than Soto at batting and catching, yet they get rid of him for Soto.

Jorge Alfaro should help out there next season. He's playing A ball for now but I bet he moves to Frisco after the break.

Torrealba did have a better bat but Darvish and Holland worked better with Soto. They are a wash defensively, both are terrible. That and Soto took a 1.5 million dollar pay cut while Torrealba wanted a raise.

Not a huge deal. He misses one game and he's back after the break.

Not an ideal situation, but shouldn't be something to fret over too much. Hell, hopefully a lot of the guys on the DL are able to come back after the break, though I doubt we'll see Lewis or Harrison until August or September.

Jorge Alfaro should help out there next season. He's playing A ball for now but I bet he moves to Frisco after the break.

He has a long way to go from low-A, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him end the season in Frisco. He still strikes out way too much, and it's a stretch for him to make it to the majors next season, but it's not inconceivable. He'd just have to show a whole lot in Frisco, and figure out how to draw a walk.
