Hindsight makes that look pretty poor, but I'm never going to question that trade. No, we don't have anything left from it, but it gave us pieces we needed at the time and I don't think Davis was ever going to put it together here.

I really disliked him when he was here, hitting .400 in AAA than couldn't hit a bull in the ass with a snow shovel when brought up. He's where he needs to be.

Either he just needed more time or perhaps playing so close to home was too much pressure for him. Glad he's figured it out for now; he always seemed like a pleasant guy, that is unless I was having to watch him swing the bat.

I just saw an item about the fans at the Ballpark getting nasty with his wife and kids. That's just so inappropriate. As much as I dislike some things she said to the press, I think that's crossing the line. Boo's and signs in the outfield are fine, but personal gigs in the stands at her, especially with those little girls there, is just a bit much.

I'm not surprised. I got hit in the face last year in the parking lot after the Wild Card game. Some drunkass Rangers fan had hit a car in the parking lot because he tried (and successfully did) merge in front of him. Dipshit and his son got out of their conversion van (lol) and starting punching and kicking the car that they hit, so my mom decided (stupidly) to stop and take pictures of the situation in case shit really went down. Drunkass douchebag noticed this and started walking towards my mom, at which point I sprinted over and stopped him before he did something really dumb, which resulted in him punching me in the face. Unfortunately, the rest of the crowd that was watching this go down got to him after the punch before I had a chance to.

My point in all of this being that Cowboys fans have latched on to the Rangers, so yes, this absolutely could happen at a Rangers game, unfortunately. Not representative of the majority of fans, but there are some serious scumbags out at the games now.

I read that article but it didn't say exactly what was said and it said that nobody was removed from the park, so I'm leaning more toward the dumb cow and the crackhead blowing it out of proportion.
